Re: Workshop on Youth Empowerment on Disabilities
Child Guidance Centre is a registered, non-profit making voluntary organization actively working to promote the welfare and interest of disabled children, economically poor, needy, orphans, and old age people.
Child Guidance Centre was established in the year 1973 with a motive of making the mentally challenged self-dependent and productive members of the society by providing them opportunity for education, vocational training and economic rehabilitation. The school started with a vision to make the Mentally Challenged "Mentally Active, Physically Strong and Socially Competent". It has rendered three decades of valuable service for the upliftment of the lives of the disabled.
To create awareness among the youth about disabilities, Child Guidance Centre is conducting workshops in different colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh. We request you to permit us to conduct a workshop at your college (which would be for about 3 hours). Please let us know the date, which is convenient to you. The workshop would orient them toward the different types of disabilities, its causes and prevention and arouse their responsibility and role towards the handicapped. We would appreciate your participation and concern. For more information please log on to www:cgcindia.org.
